Privacy Policy

1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to adamrodriguez.io (the "Site"), the weekly gathering (the "Gathering"), and one-on-one sessions (each a "Session") offered by Adam Rodriguez through Metaplexus LLC ("we," "us"). It explains what information is collected, how it is used and shared, and the rights you have over it.

These are non-clinical services. No Protected Health Information under HIPAA is collected, and no clinical records are kept.

2. Information We Collect

Gathering registration: first and last name, email address, and phone number if you choose to give it.
Session requests and bookings: name, email, phone, the topics you want to discuss, and your availability.
Payments: handled by Stripe. Full card numbers are never stored by us.
Communications: emails you send and our replies.
Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and analytics data described in Section 9.

3. How We Use It

To send you the Gathering details and any changes to the schedule
To respond to Session requests, and to schedule, deliver, and follow up on Sessions
To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes
To send email updates, only if you opt in, until you unsubscribe
To comply with legal obligations

Your information is never sold and is not used for behavioral advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

A small set of services make this possible. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Netlify hosts the Site and receives form submissions.
Zoom hosts the Gathering and Sessions.
Stripe processes payments.
Calendly handles Session scheduling.
Google Workspace provides email, documents, and calendar.
Kit sends email updates if you subscribe.
Google Analytics measures Site traffic.

5. The Gathering

Other participants can see the name and video you choose to show on Zoom. The Gathering is not recorded. We ask every participant to keep what others share private, but we cannot control what other participants do.

6. Data Retention

Registration and booking records are kept as long as needed for the purposes above and for accounting and tax obligations, typically up to seven (7) years. You may ask us to delete your information at any time. Deletion does not affect records we are legally required to keep.

7. Your Rights

Access: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information
Deletion: ask us to delete information not subject to legal retention
Withdraw consent: unsubscribe from email updates at any time

8. California and European Residents

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. Personal information is not "sold" or "shared" for cross-context behavioral advertising. Send requests to contact@adamrodriguez.io with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the GDPR may apply. We process your information based on your consent (registration and email updates), the performance of a contract (Sessions), or legal obligation (tax records). Data is transferred to and stored in the United States.

9. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses the cookies needed to function and Google Analytics to understand traffic. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the Site.

10. Children

The Site, the Gathering, and Sessions are for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact contact@adamrodriguez.io and it will be deleted.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. If a breach affects your information, you will be notified as required by applicable law.

12. Changes

This Policy may be updated at any time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
